The (long) story: I knew that there was a DVD about Benicassim 2003, and that Black Box Recorder was on it. I thought I would never find this, but then I underestimated the amazons heh.
Anyway, there's a small interview with BBR on it as well, where this is taken from. This is their answer to the "which bands are you going to see at the festival?" All three said "Suicide!" at the same time.
The interview's quite good though. Luke Haines, answering "who do you want to dedicate a song to": "All the family and people close to Saddam Hussein, if there are still any alive that is". You should've seen the look on Sara's face ahaha, she wasn't sure if she had to laugh or be mad at him. She was totally "uhh, what? No! I mean...huh?"
But from seeing that one song on the DVD, I think I can agree with the reviews I read: Black Box Recorder live is BORING. Sara Nixey is very Alison Goldfrapp like though.
Also, I'm in love with John Moore's eyes. (no, don't google him, you'll get every John Moore in existance except him. And I'm too lazy to find a good pic. Just look at his myspace or something)
Oh, and the interviews are subtitled in dutch as well. Awesome. It also has performances by Goldfrapp and other decent bands on it (no Suicide though!). Just a shame that the sound is actually quite horrible. But on the whole, I wish every festival would release a yearly DVD like this.
