#70: oh shopping

I spent the last 2 days on sites like last.fm and rateyourmusic.com, and read my old Pukkelpop records to find interesting albums I could buy. I ended up making the most extensive shopping list ever (well, potential shopping list, ultimately I only planned to buy 3 or 4 albums).
And then the cd shop closed down. Bugger.
Also, don't try to decipher it, the truth might drive you insane.

#69: Bruges special!

Bruges is probably not as beautiful as some tourists want it to be. It's still a city, there are lots of cars, people, and everything you associate with a medium-sized city. But it's still very pretty and a very pleasant city to walk in. Although outside of the city center, it's just like any other city.

The sign on the right: Snoephuisje = little candy store

The annual may fair seems to come quite early this year.

Some pompous people call Bruges "the Venice of the north". Hah.

Anyway, seems like the wikipedia entry has some very pretty pictures of things.

#68: zero privacy

Stat-tracking is so much fun, really.

#67: flowerbed

They're in the shade until noon, so they only open up after 3PM or something. I think the random colour pattern has something very cute.

#66: moi j'aime bien...

Yes! It's mine! I've been wanting a physical copy of this since 2002 or something.
It also has a very nice booklet with all the lyrics in it. Awesome!

Also, it made me addicted to Moi J'aime bien again. Gah. This song is so...ugh, can't explain. It's like watching something really really ugly and horrible, and your first reaction is to turn away from it, but this morbid curiosity deep inside you forces you to keep watching. It sucks you in, almost hypnotising you.

...Yeah.

#65: cool cat

Apparently taking pictures of your own shadow is very 'hot' now. Here, I'm being light-decapitated by a reflection on my front door.

#64: dessert

YUM!

#63: black sea

The sea. It calls me, especially at night. The soft rolling of the waves combined with the infinite blackness of night has something magically soothing.

(yeah I like writing like that)

Also, in a moment of extreme randomness, the light on the dyke right next to me suddenly went out 2 seconds after I took that pic. Hmm.

#62: first festival of the year

I didn't bother to take my fancy camera along, but I still took some with my spycamphone. I like this one best, because I like exploding lights pictures. I like this one as well, at the back of the room there were some stairs leading to another room, but a lot of people just sat or stood there, as the main room was super-crowded, as you can see. Actually, it was only this crowded during Lektroluv, I thought most people would want to see the live band playing at that time, but I guess most people chose to dance! Although it was sold out, maybe the other room had a lot of people as well.
Anyway, it was fun.
