#4: Sir Ian

I took some very nice pictures today, and it was hard to pick just one.
I decided on this one, because it really shows what a cheeky chappy he really is. He has made me laugh so many times today... he can be so damn random and funny at times. He definitely has class clown potential.
Oh yeah, for the non-lj readers: I'm Ian's godfather. People tell me he looks like me though. It's true, I have his babyface. I have more hair than him though!
If you want to see more: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v162/partyweirdo/Ian/ . I uploaded some more pictures of the past 3 months as well.

#3: weapon of choice

Most of the pictures I'll post here will be made by this camera: a Canon Powershot A710IS. Bought it for my birthday last year. I chose this one instead of the 'better' models because it has a 6x optical zoom. I soon discovered that I can make awesome videos with it. I recently fed it with a 4GB SD card. I'll need that space come summer, I love taking videos and pictures at music festivals.
(I might not be able to update in the next 2 days, but then I'll make up for it by doing 3 entries on monday, mmkay?)

#2: In HD

Earlier today, I put on the tv for my daily slice of Family Guy, Fresh Prince and That 70s show. I went in to the kitchen to get something to drink. When I came back, I noticed this annoying high pitched noise (that wasn't Will Smith!). I noticed the TV being all black (more black than Will Smith! Okay I'll stop now). I quickly turned it off, and then noticed this horrible smell of burning plastic. Bye bye TV.

My mum, ever the optimist, thought this was the excellent opportunity to go get a HD TV! So we did. We ended up with a 37 inch (her choice) Samsung (my choice). Product number is LE37R81B.

I think it's too large heh. But, it's pretty, and now I want to buy a PS3 just so I can see Blu-ray videos and hi-def games heh.

#1: Rez HD

I downloaded a new game on Xbox live arcade today, Rez HD. I bought the original Rez on the PS2, but never played it much, it was a bit...too intense for me heh. But I wanted to give it another chance, so I downloaded it. Man, I forgot how addicting it is. Played it for most of the day, I probably have the wrists of an 80 year old now. I finished the game (for the first time), the last level is so, so awesome.

As you can see in the picture, it's a very trippy game. It's a combination of a rhythm-action game with an on-rails shooter. Graphics are extremely basic, but it's more about the music anyway. Every level starts out quiet, but gets progressively louder and more beat-heavy. I can definitely recommend it to people who like electronic music. Be warned though, this is a REAL game, you can and you will die. It's pretty short, but it supports XBL leaderboards and you can unlock more modes as you finish the game.

Better stop now, I already talked about it more than I intended to.

intro

Hello everyone.

One of my friends had the idea of taking a picture each day, for a whole year long.
I encouraged her to do it, but wasn't going to do it myself because my life is pretty boring and uneventful. But, overcome by the need of starting a new crazy project (...even though I hardly ever finish them, but whatever), I present you: this blog!

Basically, by 29th january 2009, this blog should have 365 pictures. If I'm still updating by then, I'll continue using this blog as a picture-blog.

First picture is coming soon!
