#1: Rez HD

I downloaded a new game on Xbox live arcade today, Rez HD. I bought the original Rez on the PS2, but never played it much, it was a bit...too intense for me heh. But I wanted to give it another chance, so I downloaded it. Man, I forgot how addicting it is. Played it for most of the day, I probably have the wrists of an 80 year old now. I finished the game (for the first time), the last level is so, so awesome.

As you can see in the picture, it's a very trippy game. It's a combination of a rhythm-action game with an on-rails shooter. Graphics are extremely basic, but it's more about the music anyway. Every level starts out quiet, but gets progressively louder and more beat-heavy. I can definitely recommend it to people who like electronic music. Be warned though, this is a REAL game, you can and you will die. It's pretty short, but it supports XBL leaderboards and you can unlock more modes as you finish the game.

Better stop now, I already talked about it more than I intended to.
